“I started my robotic journey in October 22 and was supported locally by Intuitive. I applied to the ESCP Colorectal Robotic Training Program. The program has been excellent and been very helpful with my robotic surgery journey to date. The initial modules reinforced the robotic principles and the video demonstrations were fantastic. The practical aspect of the surgery was focussed on with the simulation practice and tests and further supported by the hands on workshop.
Clinical practice was then supported by case observation and proctoring. These again were very helpful. I have now established my robotic surgical practice and work locally with a great team of clinical colleagues and theatre staff. My case outcomes which I have recorded through the program have been good and I am delighted to have passed my case video assessments.
